Black Rock Mens Ringer Tournament Rules 2010

A Ringer tournament is a competition based on your lowest score on each hole through out the golf season. The winner is the player with lowest combined 18 hole score.

CHANGE For 2010: This year your will only be allowed to enter 25 rounds to count towards your ringer score. You declare when you post the scores that the rounds is one of your 25. In addition, you must post a ringer round prior to playing you next round at Black Rock. (eg. if you play 36 in one day and you want to post the morning round, you must do so before teeing off in the afternoon.)

There will be four separate ringer pools;

Your $40.00 entry covers all four pools, each pool will get $10.00 of the entry fee, you must enter all pools.

The season for ringer scores will go from May 14, 2010 until October 10, 2010. NOTE: you can enter scores into the ringer system any time during the full golf season. The software will determine by the date of play whether the round is eligible for the ringer. In other words you can use the ringer data entry to keep track of all of your rounds at Black Rock.

Ties will be broken by the approved USGA Method of using the Back Nine score then the last six holes, last 3 holes, etc. All scores will be entered online as www.toolin.org by the individual player and must be attested. The name of the attesting player must also be recorded for the score to be valid. All putts for Ringer scores must be putted out, no Gimmies.
